Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or date of birth typed into a search box on this site is sent straight to the outside provider that runs that search. The provider processes the query and returns the results. We do not keep or log what you type on our own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you send an email to an address listed on this site, we keep the message so we can answer it. It stays with us. We do not pass it to anyone outside our organization unless a valid legal order requires it.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page on this site loads, our server records a few technical details about the visit:
- The browser you use and its version
- The type of device and the operating system behind it
- The IP address assigned to that device
- The site that referred you here, if one did
- The pages you opened and how long each one stayed on screen
- A timestamp for every page view
Cookies and Analytics
This site uses cookies, the small files a browser stores on your device. They tell us which pages draw traffic and where readers tend to leave. Analytics services help us total that information. You can block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Some parts of the site may behave differently if you do.
What We Do With This Data
- Sending your query to the right search partner
- Keeping the site online and loading quickly
- Spotting pages that need work and pages readers find useful
- Tracking down and fixing technical problems
- Showing ads that may match your interests
No Warrant Data on File
This site does not host, compile, maintain, or sell any database of warrants or personal warrant records. It publishes general guidance about where Isabella County warrant records are kept and how to check them through the Trial Court, the Sheriff's Office, and other official channels. Michigan court case records are governed by Michigan Court Rule 8.119 and the trial court's local administrative orders. Records held by county offices are governed by the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231 et seq. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and nothing we gather about visitors becomes a consumer report about anyone.
Third-Party Search Partners
The search boxes on this site belong to outside companies. A query entered into one of those tools is handled under that company's privacy policy, not this one. Those partners decide how long they keep data and who they share it with. We have no control over that. Read a partner's policy before you submit a search.
Links to Other Websites
This site links out to court portals, sheriff's office pages, legal aid organizations, state agencies, and third-party search tools. Following one of those links takes you off this site, and the destination's privacy policy then applies. Read it before you share personal details.
Some advertising partners may track activity across sites in order to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. A few categories of information may reach others:
- Analytics services that measure traffic and performance
- Search partners that handle a query you run on this site
- Ad networks that place advertising on our pages
- Law enforcement or a government body when a valid legal order requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
We use standard security practices to protect what we collect. No system connected to the internet is immune from a breach, so we cannot promise one will never happen. Keeping little in the first place is the strongest protection available, and that is the approach here.
Users Under 18
This site is built for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us data, tell us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Records held by Michigan public bodies, including county offices and the Sheriff's Office, are governed by the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231 et seq., which sets the request process, the response timelines, and the exemptions. Court case records follow Michigan Court Rule 8.119 and the trial court's local administrative orders instead. Where another Michigan or federal law gives you rights over data a business holds, that law applies as well. As a visitor here, you can at a minimum:
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
